Winnerschnitzel holds on for thrilling victory over HUTT in sunset showdown

(published 5/3/23)

Last night's football game between Winnerschnitzel and Hol Up Thats Them (HUTT) was a heart-stopping showdown that had spectators on the edge of their seats. With HUTT taking the field after Winnerschnitzel deferred, the game began with a bang as the deep ball was in full effect, and HUTT managed to capitalize on a couple of rare slip-ups from Winnerschnitzel's safeties. Although the defense held them off on multiple occasions, they were unable to stop HUTT from scoring.

As the game progressed, both teams battled it out, and the defensive unit made some great adjustments to neutralize the deep ball and slow down their march. With both teams scoring at will, it was anyone's game, and the Winnerschnitzel team saw Araci Rivera step up with over eight catches and a touchdown in the second half alone. Key defensive plays from Rachel Poe and Kelsey Oelze stopped runs up the middle.

With the clock ticking down, and the score tied, the game was on a knife-edge. Winnerschnitzel needed to score if they hoped to win, and with a short pass to the sideline, Jared Garrison was able to haul in the catch and make his way downfield to score. To some dismay, there was almost too much time left on the clock, but with his footwork and vision, Skyler Childress was able to convert on the extra play to give them a three-point lead.

In the final seconds, the game hung in the balance as HUTT attempted to stage a last-minute comeback. The Winnerschnitzel defense fell back, allowing a catch on the sideline to burn off fifteen seconds. With only five seconds left on the clock, it came down to one play, and four orange shirts swarmed its target, with Childress himself batting the ball away.

The nail-biting game ended with a score of 21-18 in favor of Winnerschnitzel, and the defending champs can breathe a sigh of relief. However, with only one game left in the regular season, the team must prepare to face the current number one seed, Black Sheep. The team must dig deep to kick it up another gear, as they face their toughest challenge yet. The competition is getting fierce, and anything can happen in the game of football.

Winnerschnitzel's Defense Shines in Key Matchup, Securing First Place in Division

(published 4/26/23)

Last night's matchup between Winnerschnitzel and Olmos Too Old For This (OTOFT) was one for the books. The stakes were high, with both teams fighting for first place in the division. But it wasn't just the players on the field who came ready to play. The Winnerschnitzel sideline was filled with support from loved ones, including Skyler Childress' wife, Moriah, and daughter, Sarah, as well as Esai Gonzales' wife Priscilla and newborn Jayden. The team was fueled by their cheers and ready to bring their A-game.

The first half was a showcase of Winnerschnitzel's impressive defense, as they held OTOFT scoreless. Key stops and interceptions came from the likes of defensive star Jared Garrison, while Tristan Evans made a switch to corner, funneling runners up the middle where Rachel Poe & Ida Barerra made the tackles. On offense, the team moved the ball well but suffered from drops, turning the ball over on a critical 4th down. The first half ended with a low score of 8-0, with Winnerschnitzel set to receive the ball.

But the second half was where Winnerschnitzel really shone. The drops subsided, and the team found their groove, relentlessly marching up the field with little to no time wasted. Every member of the offense managed to haul in a catch, with Cameron Foster working the middle. Defensively, the team faced a couple of well-placed balls that managed to elude their stellar defense from the first half. But with time working against them, Winnerschnitzel managed to deny every extra point attempt and drive OTOFT to use up extra time. When the final whistle blew, Winnerschnitzel emerged victorious with a score of 24-12.

Although the game was a solid performance from both teams, drops continue to be detrimental to Winnerschnitzel's future success. Flag pulling was subpar, with a lot of short plays extending further than needed. While there's room for improvement, Winnerschnitzel remains a team that can strike whenever they want, however they want. And with continued learning and growth, they could very well pull off another championship.

In the end, it was a thrilling matchup that had fans on the edge of their seats. The sideline support from loved ones added a level of emotional stakes, and the performances on the field did not disappoint. Winnerschnitzel showed that they have what it takes to compete at the highest level, and they did it with their loved ones cheering them on.

Gonzalez Leads Winnerschnitzel to Hard-Fought Victory Over See These TDs

(published 4/19/23)

Last night's showdown between See These TDs and Winnerschnitzel had fans on the edge of their seats. The last time these two teams clashed, Winnerschnitzel - then known as Victorious Secret - claimed victory with a whopping 34 to 12 scoreline. But this time, See These TDs had an ace up their sleeve in the form of quarterback Trey Bass, who has worked hard to transform their offense.

The first half was a nail-biting back-and-forth battle. Winnerschnitzel allowed the first touchdown due to a costly miscommunication, but they quickly rallied behind backup quarterback Esai Gonzalez to take the lead. The defensive unit also stepped up, pulling off a crucial turnover at the goal line. However, a heart-wrenching drop on a 4th down gender play gave See These TDs the chance they needed to score and retake the lead. But Winnerschnitzel refused to back down, and with amazing performances from Araci Rivera and Tristan Evans, they managed to tie the game just before halftime.

As the second half kicked off, Winnerschnitzel made some critical defensive adjustments that threw Bass off his game and limited his offensive options. Pressure mounted as See These TDs struggled with drops, allowing Winnerschnitzel to pull off a key interception in the late second half, thanks to Jared Garrison. With the ball back in their hands and time ticking down, the team had a chance to burn the clock down and clinch the win.

However, See These TDs had other ideas, and with little time remaining, they marched down to the goal line, desperately needing a touchdown and two-point conversion to tie the game. But with the clock ticking down, Winnerschnitzel's defense held strong, forcing the turnover and ending the game in dramatic fashion.

This was a game for the history books, with both teams playing their hearts out until the very last second. See These TDs can hold their heads high after such a strong performance, while Winnerschnitzel emerged bruised but victorious.

Offensive Struggles and Controversial Calls Plague Winnerschnitzel in Tough Loss to Primetime

(published 4/12/23)

Last night's SSC Tuesday League match-up between Winnerschnitzel and Primetime was a thrilling and hard-fought game, with both teams displaying impressive athleticism and determination.

Winnerschnitzel opted to defer at the start of the game, putting their defense on the field first. Despite a promising start with a goal line stop, their offense would quickly stall out, giving Primetime the chance to take an early lead. But Winnerschnitzel showed their resilience by bouncing back and scoring on their next drive, setting the stage for a back-and-forth battle that kept the spectators on the edge of their seats.

Throughout the game, quarterback Skyler Childress showed his agility and resourcefulness, managing to extend drives with impressive rushes and avoiding Primetime's relentless pressure. But the team was plagued by miscommunications, with several passes just out of reach or dropped by receivers. Only wideout Tristan Evans stood out as a reliable receiver, managing to catch all of his targets.

Toward the end of the first half defensive star Jared Garrison was able to intercept the ball giving his team seven seconds left on the clock. With only one play to cover forty yards Winnerschnitzel failed to score, leaving them trailing 14-6 as they headed into halftime. But they came out strong in the second half, with Childress leading the charge and the team fighting hard for every inch. Despite their improved performance, the game remained a nail-biter, with the outcome still in doubt.

In the end, it all came down to a critical extra point play. The team opted to go for the tie rather than the win, a decision that proved controversial among fans and analysts alike. Unfortunately, they failed to convert, as the ball was thrown to Tristan Evans, who was covered by two defenders, and was batted away. The missed opportunity sealed the game for Primetime, leaving Winnerschnitzel to reflect on what might have been.

Defensively, Winnerschnitzel had a frustrating night, with several calls going against them and a few miscommunications leading to missed opportunities. In particular, a batted throw that was initially intercepted was called back on a questionable roughing the passer call, which even the Primetime quarterback admitted was a false call in the post-game press conference.

Overall, it was a tough night for Winnerschnitzel, with multiple dropped passes and missed opportunities. But this reporter believes that the team will learn from this painful loss and come back stronger in their next game, ready to take on whatever challenges come their way.

Winnerschnitzel Dominates in SSC Tuesday League Opener

(published 4/5/23)

The SSC Tuesday League kicked off with a bang yesterday as Winnerschnitzel, the reigning Ultra Division champions, took to the field against Bigg Ol TDs. Fans were on the edge of their seats as they waited for the first play of the game, and they didn't have to wait long.

On the very first play, defensive superstar RJ Poe intercepted the ball and ran it back for a pick-six. The crowd erupted as Winnerschnitzel took an early lead. But they didn't stop there. The team piled on the pressure, adding another interception late in the first half and a third on the game's very last play, courtesy of quarterback Skyler Childress.

It was a defensive masterclass from Winnerschnitzel, with the only points against them coming when they had benched their starters and were down a player. Their offense had a relatively quiet day, spending most of the game on the sidelines. But when they did take to the field, they made it count.

There was a slight scare for the team when returning player Esai Gonzalez went down with a leg injury, but he was able to return to the game after sitting out for a half. The ladies of the team stepped up and carried the scoring, with both Kelsey Oelze and Rachel Poe making huge plays for touchdowns of over 65 yards.

It's clear that Winnerschnitzel has made up for the loss of their talented players with new acquisitions, and they showed that they are still a force to be reckoned with. If they can maintain this level of play, there's no doubt they will be able to defend their title and continue dominating the Ultra Division. Fans of the team can look forward to an exciting and action-packed season ahead.

In With The New

(published 4/4/23)

As the off-season draws to a close, changes are afoot for the reigning SSC Tuesday League champions, Victorious Secret. With free agency coming to an end, a number of notable players have departed from the roster, leaving fans to wonder how the team will fare in the upcoming season.

Among the departures is defensive standout and safety Anthony Mathis, who is reportedly seeking a larger contract. Also leaving is pro-bowl rusher Jesse Barba, who was franchise tagged but sought a trade to join the up-and-coming team Balls N Dolls. Kate Fryer, formerly of Wolfpack, also left Victorious Secret for Balls N Dolls in pursuit of higher compensation. Rounding out the departures are tight end Will Foster, who sat out last season due to injury and is looking to make a name for himself elsewhere, and former teammate Tony Cataldo, who is seeking a starting position on a team that can fully utilize his skills.

While these departures are significant, Victorious Secret has not been idle in the off-season. The team has added a number of new players to the roster, including Joseph Todd, who has a history of playing alongside the team's captains and quarterback. Additionally, Esai Gonzales and Patrick Granchelli are both returning to the team as two-way players with impressive speed and catching abilities.

Team spokesperson Rachel Poe explained the change in name, saying, “Because all we did as marshmallows was win and after winning the championship. It was the only thing that seemed fit.”

The Winnerschnitzel roster is as follows:

The Winnerschnitzel team will certainly look different in the upcoming season, but the addition of new talent and the return of familiar faces will undoubtedly make for an exciting season ahead.

Victorious Secret redeems themselves in championship matchup

(published 3/29/23)

The SSC Tuesday League's playoffs resumed after an extended break due to inclement weather, with Victorious Secret (VS) facing off against No Punt Intended in the semifinals with the ticket to the championship on the line.

For both teams, this was their first time returning to Olmos Park after two weeks of inactivity. The game went similarly to their first encounter with Victorious Secret marching down the field consecutively aside from a late-game interception when they were up multiple scores. Big plays from the offensive unit allowed them to establish their rhythm, with the play of the game coming from rusher Jesse Barba who batted the ball before catching it to set up an easy goal line play.

With the decisive win, Victorious Secret moved on to face Wolfpack in the championship match. It was a rematch after Wolfpack had previously dismantled them, with VS eager to redeem themselves. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation. The game started with both teams playing cautiously, trying to feel each other out. However, as the game progressed, it became evident that VS had learned from their previous encounter and had made significant changes to their game plan.

Quarterback Skylar Childress had an outstanding performance, with quick passes that evaded defenders and found their mark. Childress's forty-yard run on 4th & Long kept the offense on the field and burnt more time before scoring. VS also had success with their gender plays, with Kelsey Oelze and Araci Rivera snagging key passes to extend drives, while Rachel Poe made unbelievable defensive stops.

Defensively, it was a great game for Victorious Secret, with some timely turnovers and flag pulls that halted Wolfpack's momentum. Despite giving up a touchdown pass down the right side, Darnell Murphy and the rest of the VS defense held their own against a strong Wolfpack offense.

As the game progressed, rain began to fall, adding a poetic backdrop to this thrilling match. Despite the conditions, both teams continued to battle, with each possession becoming more critical as time ticked away.

Ultimately, Victorious Secret emerged victorious, winning the Michelob Ultra Finals and becoming the division champions. The win was a testament to their resilience and determination, as they bounced back from a demoralizing defeat to claim the championship. It was a fitting end to an exciting and hard-fought season, with both teams giving it their all until the very end.

Wolfpack holds off late comeback attempt by Victorious Secret

(published 3/15/23)

Last night's highly anticipated game between the Victorious Secret and the Wolfpack lived up to its expectations as both teams put up a fierce fight. The game ended with a final score of 20-27 in favor of the Wolfpack, who managed to hold Victorious Secret to their lowest score since the beginning of the season.

The night proved to be Victorious Secret biggest challenge as the offense who struggled late in the game. Quarterback Skylar Childress gave it his all but the offense stalled with a fourth-down stop at the goal line and a critical interception during the second half drive. Despite a few impressive deep balls that resulted in touchdowns, the team's receiving corps lacked its usual tenacity, with several missed opportunities and miscommunications.

On the defensive side, Victorious Secret managed to stop the Wolfpack's dink-and-dime offense on a few drives, but ultimately failed in key moments. The Wolfpack's Robert Todd caught a much-needed touchdown pass to give his team the lead with just seven minutes left, while Kelly Hibbing's touchdown pass to the right corner of the field sealed the deal for the Wolfpack.

Despite the loss, Victorious Secret has secured their place in the playoffs as the second seed in their division. However, the defeat marks a fall from first place, and many are left wondering how the team's mentality will be affected moving forward. Will this loss serve as a rallying cry for the team, or will it result in another season of missed opportunities?

While the game's outcome was disappointing for Victorious Secret, there were still a few standout performances worth mentioning. Childress' ability to avoid pressure from Wolfpack's rusher Kate Fryer resulted in multiple deep balls and touchdowns, showcasing his skill as a quarterback. On the defensive side, the team did a relatively good job, only allowing one conversion on a gender play due to miscommunication.

As the regular season comes to a close, the playoffs loom large for Victorious Secret. With their second seed ranking, the team will need to regroup and strategize for their next opponents. While the loss to the Wolfpack may have been a setback, there's still a chance for Victorious Secret to redeem themselves and make a run for the championship.

Face Off in Potential Championship Preview

(updated 3/14/23)

Tomorrow night's game between Victorious Secret and Wolfpack is set to be a high-stakes matchup, with many viewing it as a preview of the league's championship game. Both teams have a reputation for high-scoring offenses, but they differ in their playing styles. Wolfpack's quarterback, Ryan Rivera, leads a dink and dime offense, which focuses on exploiting gaps in the defense before attempting to go deep. This strategy has been successful in minimizing turnovers and managing the game clock.

Victorious Secret, on the other hand, is coming off a defensive beatdown and will need to be on top of their game to match Wolfpack's offense. However, with a strong defensive unit, they have the potential to shut down Wolfpack's strategy and make their own mark on the game.

Adding an extra layer of intrigue to the matchup is the presence of Kate Fryer, a former member of Victorious Secret who joined the team mid-season but decided against re-signing with them. Fryer's familiarity with her former team may prove to be an advantage for Wolfpack, but Victorious Secret will be ready for the challenge.

Regardless of the outcome, both teams are already playoff-bound and will likely be using this game to build an effective strategy for the championship. Fans can expect an exciting and competitive game that could potentially set the stage for an epic rematch in the championship.

Key players lost during offseason free agency

(published 3/10/3)

The offseason free agency has brought about some major changes in the SSC League, with key players leaving some teams and joining others. To understand the impact of these changes, let's take a closer look at the history of the Monday league.

For the past five seasons, the Monday league has been dominated by Patrick Mahomies, led by Patrick Arias and Jesse Barba. However, when the team decided to venture into the more competitive Tuesday league, a new team called Amazon Dimes  was formed with Darnell Murphy and Kelsey Oelze as captains. Despite their early struggles, Amazon Dimes started to build a solid foundation after acquiring former rival quarterback Mitchell Byrum and offensive stars Rachel Poe and Jared Garrison paving the way for the current Victorious Secret team.

Meanwhile, the Monday league began to lose its appeal as more teams migrated to the Tuesday league. This brings us to the present day, where we see the impact of the offseason free agency.

Balls & Dolls, the pink team, has announced a merger with the remaining Patrick Mahomies players from the Monday league. While this may seem like just another team restructure, it has caused some significant changes. The merger has resulted in Victorious Secret losing some key players, such as Anthony Mathis, Kate Fryer, and Jesse Barba. The latter has moved to Balls & Dolls, mainly due to the promise of more playing time.

This has been a tough pill to swallow for Victorious Secret's captain, Darnell Murphy, who has been criticized in the past for not distributing offensive playing time to several superstars. While the team has lost some critical players, they have also regained some strength. Esai Gonzales, a formidable receiver who stretches the field and moves the chains, has made his return from retirement. The team has also acquired Joseph Todd, personally scouted by quarterback Skylar Childress.

The upcoming season is shaping up to be an exciting one, with Victorious Secret and Balls & Dolls taking shape as sister squads. For Victorious Secret, the question now is how they will fare against their former teammates amidst the playing time controversy. For Balls & Dolls, the question is how they will perform with a veteran quarterback in place and with the help of some veteran players.

In conclusion, the offseason free agency has brought about some significant changes, which will undoubtedly impact the SSC League's landscape. Only time will tell how these changes will play out, but fans can expect an exciting season ahead.

Victorious Secret on a Roll: Shuts Out Any Given Tuesday

(published 3/8/23)

Last night's matchup between Victorious Secret and Any Given Tuesday resulted in a shutout win for Victorious Secret, with a final score of 36-0. The game saw some impressive plays from both teams, but ultimately it was the offense of Victorious Secret that dominated the game.

Led by quarterback Skylar Childress, the team executed a well-rounded offensive strategy with mid-field passes and deep balls, led by receiving tandem RJ Poe and Kelsey Oelze. Poe made good use of the holes in the defense and scored two touchdowns on the right side.

On the defensive end, Jarred Garrison's incredible interception in the second half and Jesse Barba's standout performance with a huge 4th down sack  stood out. Meanwhile, flag pulls from Ida Barrera, Araci Rivera, and Rachel Poe prevented Any Given Tuesday's runs from gaining momentum.

The team came into the game with a clear goal - to shut down the opposing team - and they did just that. While there were a couple of missed opportunities in the endzone, it's safe to say that Victorious Secret would have shattered their franchise record of 44+ points had those catches been made. However, their defensive strategy was rock solid, and the team's vocal presence on the field seemed to affect their opponent, leading to costly mistakes and missed opportunities for Any Given Tuesday.

With only one game remaining before the playoffs, Victorious Secret's next matchup will be a crucial one as they face off against a team they may well see in the finals. The team's strong performance last night will undoubtedly give them confidence heading into this next game, and fans can expect an exciting showdown as the season draws to a close.

Welcome To The Family, Clay!

Congratulations are in order for Mitchell and Brooke Byrum as they welcome their first child, Clay Allen Byrum, into the world! As a former quarterback for the Victorious Secret team, Mitchell's leadership and skill helped lead his team to consecutive championships. It's clear that his success on the field is now being mirrored in his personal life with the arrival of his new bundle of joy.

While football may be a passion for many, there's nothing quite like the love and joy that comes with welcoming a new addition to the family. We wish the Byrum family all the best as they embark on this new journey together, filled with love, laughter, and endless memories. Congratulations again on this special and exciting time in your lives!

Will This Tuesday Be Given?

(published 3/6/23)

This upcoming matchup between Victorious Secret and Any Given Tuesday (AGT) is sure to be a battle. Victorious Secret (VS) enters the game on a three-win streak, while Any Given Tuesday is fresh off their first win of the season. However, despite their early struggles, AGT plays with the confidence and swagger of Super Bowl legend Tom Brady, often engaging in trash talk and elaborate celebrations.

The key to this matchup will be whether AGT can break through VS's defense, which has been a formidable force this season. With AGT allowing 113 points so far, they will need to put up plenty of points to have a chance of winning. Additionally, VS's flag pullers will need to be cautious around AGT's frequently used runner, who is known to use his elbows as a weapon on the field.

Defensive star Darnell Murphy, who got a firsthand look at Any Given Tuesday last week while subbing for another team, noted their propensity for trash talk. He believes that the best counter to that is a win, but he also acknowledges that they may need to match their opponents energy early on.

Overall, this game promises to be an exciting showdown between two teams looking to prove themselves on the field. With both teams firing on all cylinders, fans can expect a high-scoring matchup filled with thrilling moments and plenty of drama.

Down But Not Out

(published 3/1/23)

Last night's matchup between Victorious Secret and See These TDs was a thrilling one, with both teams giving it their all on the field. Despite being down multiple players, Victorious Secret managed to make some strategic adjustments and fill the void by moving several defensive players into their starting lineup. This proved to be a smart move, as one of these defensive players scored the team's first touchdown after a deep ball to RJ Poe.

The offensive unit also played a key role in securing the win, stretching the field and taking advantage of an open spot in the deep right. On the defensive side of the ball, the team managed to get a much-needed stop with an interception from RJ on See These TDs' first trip to the red zone. They also got a stop on 4th down after a deep ball was deflected by Jared Garrison. Rachel Poe and Ida Barrera were flag-pulling machines, making it difficult for the opposing offense to get any momentum going. By the end of the first half, Victorious Secret had built up a commanding 20-0 lead.

The second half saw Victorious Secret playing a person down for much of the game, but their lead allowed them to comfortably run down the clock. See These TDs managed to score a couple of times and found their rhythm, but it was too little too late.

The game was a great display of teamwork and team chemistry, with Victorious Secret's ability to shift their offensive and defensive schemes to match their personnel being a testament to their depth and skill. With more contracts being negotiated this week, we can expect to see some big adjustments and asks in the coming days. Overall, it was a great game and a well-deserved win for Victorious Secret.

Intense Matchup with Future Salaries at Stake

(published 2/27/23)

The San Antonio SSC flag football league is set for an exciting matchup between two fierce competitors: Victorious Secret and See These TDs. The game promises to be a hard-fought battle, with both teams looking to secure a victory that could propel them to the top of the standings.

Victorious Secret has been on a roll lately, winning their last two games after a tough loss in week one. They will be relying on their offense to put points on the board and help them secure another victory. Meanwhile, See These TDs will be looking to rely on their speed and agility to keep the opposing defense on their toes and score points of their own.

One key factor in this game will be the performance of both teams' defenses. Victorious Secret has been particularly impressive on the defensive end, having recently snagged three interceptions and scored a Pick-6 in their last game. See These TDs' defense has also been solid, allowing for the fewest points so far this season.

As the players take the field, there is a sense of anticipation in the air. This is a crucial game for both teams, as a victory would give them much-needed momentum heading into the playoffs. With so much at stake, we can expect both teams to give it their all on the field.

This game is a clash of styles, with See These TDs' speed and Victorious Secret's unyielding defense competing head-to-head. The game promises to be a thrilling one, with plenty of action and suspense from start to finish.

With the upcoming contract discussions for the next season, the players will have even more motivation to perform at their best as they will be looking to enter these discussions with more bargaining power, hoping to secure higher salaries for themselves. This added incentive could make for an even more intense and competitive game, with every player pushing themselves to the limit. The stakes are high, and the players know it. They will be giving it their all on the field, hoping to impress their coaches and secure a better deal for themselves in the upcoming season.

As fans and players alike look forward to the matchup, we can expect an intense battle between two talented teams. Though we cannot predict the outcome of the game, one thing is certain: both teams will give it their all on the field in pursuit of victory.

Endzone Kissed

(published 2/22/23)

Victorious Secret emerged victorious over Kiss My Endzone in a fiery game, with a final score of 38-12. The night was off to a fiery start with Dave Silva, the team's deep threat option, arriving early to the game for the first time in seasons. Adding to the pre-game excitement was the return of several key players, allowing for a deep offensive core and giving defensive captain Anthony Mathis all the tools he needed to keep the opponent on their toes.

Led by their newly starting quarterback, Skyler Childress, the Victorious Secret offense was firing on all cylinders. With a deep core of offensive weapons at his disposal, Childress utilized precision passing to march the team down the field. Jared Garrison proved to be a key target, hauling in several deep balls throughout the game. Meanwhile, Rachel Poe, Cameron Foster, Araci Rivera, and Kelsey Oelze made steady gains up the middle, chipping away at the opposing defense with consecutive first downs.

The Victorious Secret defense was equally impressive, setting the tone for the game with cornerback Darnell Murphy intercepting the first pass play and returning it for a touchdown. Murphy would go on to secure another interception in the first half, while free safety RJ Poe added to the defense stand with an interception of his own later in the game.

Though the team struggled with extra point attempts and had a few drops, their comfortable lead made these misgivings inconsequential. Most of the game was played with Victorious Secret down a player due to the 21-point Rule. The rule being that if you are ahead by 21 points, you must play the game down a player. The only points scored by the opponent came toward the end of the game with Victorious Secret pulling starters.

Notable plays included incredible catches by Jared Garrison and Kelsey Oelze in the end zone. Silva had an incredible end game catch but was downed before reaching the goal line.

All in all, it was a great night for Victorious Secret and their fans as they celebrated their well-deserved win. The team's strong performance gives them a lot of momentum going into their next game, where they will hope to replicate their success and continue their winning streak.

Skies The Limit

(published 2/21/23)

The Victorious Secret's newest QB, Skyler Childress, is set to lead the team to victory as they take on Kiss My Endzone in today's game. After an impressive debut last week, Skyler will be looking to continue his hot streak and guide his team to their first championship after seasons of heartbreak.

Skyler's football journey has seen him go from scrawny long snapper to the hulking wide receiver and free safety that we know today . Despite never starting as a quarterback, his debut performance has already earned him the confidence of his teammates and coaches which they hope will help them secure a win against Kiss My Endzone, a team without a victory and only 25 points scored on the season.

In addition to the quarterback change, the team will rely on the defensive skills of former QB Jesse Barba, who has created interception opportunities since stepping down from the position. With the return of Rachel Poe, Cameron Foster, Tristan Evans and Jared Garrison from a week off for load management, the offense should be firing on all cylinders.

On the defensive side, the team will be missing rusher Sage Cleveland, who is dealing with in-laws and will miss his second game of the season. However, with Barba sliding back into his old spot the rest of the defense should be able to step up and make plays to hold Kiss My Endzone's struggling offense to a low score.

Overall, the game presents a great opportunity for the Victorious Secret to build on their momentum and secure another win with Skyler at the helm. If the team can play to their potential and execute their game plan, they have a good chance of coming out on top and taking another step towards the championship.

In With The New

(published 2/15/22)

As a reporter for the SSC, it's clear that Victorious Secret has undergone significant changes to their roster heading into the 2023 season. Losing quarterback Mitchell Byrum and star wide receiver Esai Gonzalez could have been a significant blow to the team, but it seems like they are adapting well to their new circumstances.

Despite Jesse Barba's bounce-back game where he threw for five touchdowns and ran for over 100 yards he's decided to pass the torch to Skylar Childress who has now taken over the starting quarterback position. The switch initiated by Jesse has allowed him to transition to defense and where he can utilize his leadership skills to help the team in that area.

The addition of RJ Poe, a talented wide receiver from the Poe family, adds another weapon to the team's offensive arsenal. Sage Cleveland, the team's rusher, and Ida Barrera, a newcomer to football with impressive ball skills, also bring valuable skills to the team.

While Victorious Secret's record is currently at 1-1, it's clear that the team is still finding their footing and building chemistry with their new roster. However, the recent blowout win is a clear indication that the team has the potential to be a force in the league.

As a reporter for the SSC, it's exciting to see how Victorious Secret will continue to develop throughout the season and how they will fare against their competition. It's clear that they have the potential to make a significant impact and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds.

Death Comes In Threes

(published Jan. 20th, 2023)

In a heartbreaking matchup, the number one seed Son Of A Mitch, led by quarterback Mitchell Byrum, lost to S(he)-Unit 13 to 21 in the flag football league championship hosted by the San Antonio Sports Club (SSC). Despite a strong effort by Son Of A Mitch, the game was marred by poor officiating that ultimately cost them the victory.

One of the most critical moments of the game came on a crucial 4th down stop, when Rachel Poe of Son Of A Mitch was called for roughing the passer. The call kept S(he)-Unit's drive alive, allowing them to score the game-winning touchdown. This controversial call was met with disbelief and frustration by the Son Of A Mitch players and fans.

Another poor officiating call occurred when a touchdown was caught out of bounds, but was still accepted by the referees. These questionable calls were a major factor in the outcome of the game, and left many wondering what could have been if the calls had gone in favor of Son Of A Mitch.

Despite the disappointment of this loss, the future looks bright for Son Of A Mitch. While they will be losing their quarterback, Mitchell Byrum, and their star wide-receiver, Esai Gonzalez, the team has a strong core of players and a dedicated coach who will work to build on their success and bring the championship trophy home next season.

In conclusion, the flag football league championship was a thrilling matchup between two talented teams, but unfortunately, it was marred by poor officiating. While Son Of A Mitch may be licking their wounds today, they have a bright future and will be back stronger than ever.
