His managerial acumen, coupled with a roster sculpted through shrewd trades and preseason foresight, has solidified him as the best in the league. This week we're looking at the rest of the teams in the league.

RSS

• The Good: At this point in the season the clear favorite far and above is RSS who is seeking to take the crown and be the first ever to go back to back. With the most points scored he's already won six games suffering his first loss this past week. Enough good things can't be said about his depth with his team capable of average a league high of about 180 points each week. If that wasn't scary enough his MUR has increasing every week where it now rests in the low nineties.

• The Bad: No draft picks beyond 2024 but with the strength of his team it's hard to feel that bad about it. He's all in on winning this year and the next and currently it's very possible.

• The Ugly: The only ugly is that there's nothing ugly about this squad. His opponents should be worried.

The Topete Football Team

• The Good: Probably one of the best hopes the league has for a new champion the team fielded by Topete is currently enjoying a four week win streak, and has the second most points scored. With his roster capable of scoring 168 points a week he's just a threat as RSS. 

• The Bad: His inconsistency at setting his best starting lineup as his MUR ranks the fourth lowest with a 83.2%. With plenty of time left in the season it's possible to turn this around and pull off the upset against current frontrunner RSS.

• The Ugly: He's leaving around 28 points on the bench every week. Peanuts when he's still putting out 140+ points but that will make a difference down the line. With no draft picks if he can't win it this year he'll be forced to rely on waivers or trading assets to retool.

Mojo Dojo Casa House

• The Good: Probably one of the finest turn arounds of a GM, Mojo Dojo Casa House is currently in a three win streak with the third most points scored on the season. 

• The Bad: Inconsistent performances from his receivers and more specifically his running backs, things are shaping up to be an uphill battle come playoffs. Either his roster needs to settle or he'll need to acquire players that can offer that stability.

• The Ugly: Not a single draft pick till 2027. That's a lot of all in with a team that's unlikely to topple the reigning champ. His QB situation doesn't leave him much wiggle room or youth outside Bryce Young and the suspect Ridder who many believe will be benched at some point.

Big D Dynasty

• The Good: Having just toppled the one team whilst simultaneously setting the highest score in league history Big D Dynasty has reasserted himself as the leagues first and most efficient manager. With a season MUR of 90.9% GM Dominic has a clear understanding of how to get more with less.

• The Bad: Eighth in team strength this team is only limited by the pieces it has available. The coaching staff as continued to make diamonds out of coal but with byes approaching coal may be in short supply.

• The Ugly: The running back carousal of Big D may be its undoing. If he wants to win it all this season, which he can, he'll need to address this issue

Seltzer Boyz

• The Good: A quietly efficient team Seltzer Boyz rank third highest with their MUR sitting at 89.1%. GM Willcoxon has done a good job playing at a competitive level throughout the season.

• The Bad: The inconsistency at running back has led to a two week losing streak. Fans are hoping that the team can get it together lest they fall out of playoff contention.

• The Ugly: A lot of the team consists of players from the Chargers much like his NFL counterpart Seltzer Boyz suffer heartbreaking losses in games they should be able to close out.

Barrel Scum

• The Good: The team has turned it around these last two weeks with them currently sitting on a two win streak. In addition with the recent change at head coach their MUR has been increasing every week. If things stay the course they can maximize on this depth.

• The Bad: Five losses for a team that should have three. Barrel Scum currently sits in sixth in teams of complete roster strength but yet it finds itself ninth place behind teams that have scored less. Unfortunately for them when teams play them they bring out their best. With the second most points scored on them at 895.2 points (127.88 points per game) the team absolutely must set out their best lineup.

• The Ugly: Massive incompetency in the personnel department has put this team in a hole that they must now fight out of. It's no wonder why GM Murphy has relived his head coach of personnel management.

The Miguel Football Team

• The Good: The draft flexibility of this team is a wonder unlike one we will ever see again. With ten of the 2024 draft picks he's got his choice to fill any and all holes. Couple that with his great receivers in Lamb, Chase, and Jefferson he's got a solid foundation.

• The Bad: Only boasting one win through the season it's time to look to the future as it currently looks impossible for him to compete without trading away some of those draft picks. Best course is to stay the course and look to next year.

• The Ugly: Sold the last two years for next, if the team fails to win it in the coming seasons there will need to be an internal discussion about their management.

N.W.O.

• The Good: While this season is shaping up to be a wash the team has draft flexibility in the second round of next year.

• The Bad: One win all season and no adjustments from the management. It's hard to say what this team is looking to do.

• The Ugly: Dead last in MUR (75.9% on the season) and second to last in roster strength this team needs to look in the mirror and decide if it wants to commit to the rebuild or if it wants to continue going through the motions half-hearted.

The JuJuBes

• The Good: Despite the rough start for The JuJuBes they still maintain most of their picks, aside from next years 1st, and have some youth at quarterback. 

• The Bad: Losing Aaron Rodgers & Nick Chubb is enough to derail any team but trading away your 2024 1st for a now injured Mike Williams is bad on top of bad. 

• The Ugly: Ranked dead last in team strength (109pts averaged with best lineup every week) the team needs a shakeup and it remains to be seen what plans GM M'Lissa has in mind

This week we're looking at three teams: Blvck Sheep, MTN Dewds, and the team currently under GM Aric.

Blvck Sheep

• The Good: The team has fantastic scoring potential averaging 122.62 ppg  (5th highest points scored this season at 613.14). Led by quarterback Jalen Hurts and the 2023 breakouts in Nico Collins, Zack Moss, and Kyren Williams he's managed to find success in his matchups. With his team's added youth, he can continue to garner more wins as the season progresses. With a MUR (maximum utilization rate) of 73.4% he's usually trotting out a contending starting lineup.

• The Bad: The price paid for having one of the best quarterbacks in the league is having nobody to pair him with. Kyler Murray stands at his QB2 spot but an ongoing injury has prevented him from touching the field this season. Added to that is the aging Derrick Henry who's been losing snaps to the rookie. In addition, his depth at WR comes from veteran receivers who are still building chemistry with their choppy quarterbacks.

• The Ugly: Blvck Sheep is definitely lacking flexibility in draft picks and with a lot of his roster poised for turnover in the coming years GM Day is currently in his win-now window. As it stands, his opponents are averaging 135.17 ppg against him (2nd most in the league). It will be essential for him to move certain pieces in order to properly capitalize on his current MUR and put himself in positions to push past his current average

MTN Dewds

• The Good: Due to a combination of lack of competition and an 83.72% MUR MTN Dews have managed to take 8th place. As it currently stands they are 3rd lowest score on the team in the league (just 106.08ppg against them). Of course, this is built on the backs of his phenomenal depth at quarterback. Mahomes, Jackson, and even Baker Mayfield have provided him with a baseline to build upon every week.

• The Bad: Outside his quarterback, the team suffers from inconsistency at the running back position mixed with a glaring lack of wide receiver depth. He's certainly managed to capitalize on his opponent's bad play but the question is for "how long".

• The Ugly: No draft flexibility leaves him little room to make off-season adjustments which has compounding his reliance on the youthful receivers on his team. All in all there's a chance and time for them to develop but if not the team's playoff window may be closing sooner than expected

The Aric Football Team

• The Good: With a league-high average MUR of 92.74%, GM Aric is always bringing some of his best to each and every game. While some may argue luck has played a part in his success the fact remains that he's capitalized on the fact that he faces his opponents at their worst. With a league-low 514.12 points against him this season (102.82ppg)  he's moved himself into the sixth seed.

• The Bad: The opposite side of the high MUR is the lack of depth he has on his bench. He's found success but the obvious truth is that a dynasty can not be built on the backs of opposing slumps. Outside Kupp & Burrow he's got more than a few question marks moving forward. On top of that he's not draft flexibility until 2025. If his luck turns against him he may have to part with some of his few assets.

• The Ugly: Despite sitting at 6th place he's got the 4th lowest in points scored across the league. His next month of matchup pits him against three of the league's juggernauts. He will need some explosive plays to stand a chance.

Their steady performances have secured them the fifth spot on our rankings, and with the recent acquisition of Diontae Johnson, they have added firepower to their roster, contributing to their rise in the rankings.

• Big D Dynasty (Up to 9th place) - Ascending, Big D Dynasty's recent trades have potentially provided a spark, propelling them higher in the rankings and showcasing their determination to turn their season around.

Falling Teams:

• Blvcksheep (Down to 8th place): Perhaps due to the decision to trade away Michael Thomas or maybe the ascending competing teams, Blvcksheep has been noticeably quiet as they seek to develop for their team. They have the potential to positively affect their offensive dynamics and reverse their fall in the rankings.

• The JuJubes (Down to 10th place): The JuJubes' team is poised to face a tough season due to a combination of inactivity and uncertainty in key positions. With some of their players not on teams and some out of the league entirely, their roster faces challenges. The ongoing quarterback carousel and the absence of a top fifteen wide receiver add to their struggles in the Superflex league format. Without addressing these issues, The JuJubes have slipped in the rankings.

• GM Osorio displayed exceptional draft strategy, amassing an impressive amount of draft capital for next year's draft. With a whopping 10 first-round picks in his possession, Osorio's team is poised to make a significant impact in the coming seasons.

Swift's journey to the league was a unique one. She was invited to join by none other than the commissioner himself, Garret Spriggs. You wouldn't know it from her roster but she's a Steelers fan, but it's not because Pittsburgh is her hometown. She moved from Apple Valley to Claremont before finally settling down in Riverside which sounds more complicated than it is but was an essential route that landed her in the league.

One of the keys to Swift's success is her ability to win games without making a lot of noise. She has the fifth-best record in the league, but she is also the only owner who has never initiated a conversation in the league. This makes her a bit of a mystery to her competitors, but it also keeps her focused on the task at hand.

Swift's current quarterback situation is a bit uncertain. She has veterans Matt Ryan and Tom Brady on her roster, but with one retired and the other likely on his way out, she'll need to rely on some younger players. Brock Prudy, Trey Lance, and Jordan Love give her some youth at the position, but the standout on her roster is Aaron Rodgers.

Many fans were hoping that the draft capital would allow them to regain a franchise quarterback akin to Patrick Mahomes or Justin Herbert, both of which were traded away in the span of two seasons. Now Willcoxon pins his franchise's future on Tua who was unfortunately in the headlines for the wrong reasons all year long. Two concussions in a span of weeks where he could barely walk straight after a couple of hard hits forced the NFL to change their protocols leaving many concerned about his future in the league.

Only time will tell, but for now, fans of the Tailgaters Association will continue to watch and wait to see what will happen with their favorite teams.

***Updated: GM Osorio had this to say about recent criticism, "We understand our fans frustrations but we are making upgrades this year and will roll out a roster that will continue our streak of playoff appearances but will also  net us a championship. We are currently looking to shop a couple wide receivers on our roster." ***

The LibertyandJustinsforAll franchise has been the subject of much discussion in the Tailgaters Association fantasy football league. With a staggering 14 picks between now and 2025, they have more than double the average number of picks. However, despite making it to the playoffs multiple times, they have yet to progress past the first round.

Many fans and critics have grown impatient with the team's indecisiveness, with some arguing that they could have already secured a championship if they had made the right trades, much like GM Robbie Sanwald did with his team, RSS7, last year. However, others believe that LibertyandJustinsforAll has the potential to become a dynasty if they can break free from their perpetual playoff purgatory.

The team's current roster is undoubtedly a cause for concern. With only Daniel Jones as their quarterback and Cam Akers and Jeff Wilson leading their running game, the team needs to make significant upgrades in both positions to have a chance at success.

Despite having two first-round picks and an additional second-round pick in the upcoming draft, there are still questions about the team's ability to succeed. Around the league they have been referred to as "the team with more letters in its name than wins." Not exactly a ringing endorsement. While draft capital can certainly help, it is not the only factor in building a winning team.

When asked about his goals for the season, he responded with a resounding "I'm here to win championships. Not one. Not two. Not three. Not four. I want them all, and I'm starting the takeover now."
